“It’s not going to be like in the past when seals had a bounty on them and were wiped out,” King said. “As long as the federal government protects the species, the problem is not going to be solved.”

Let’s face it. When we protect endangered species, we are playing favorites with the natural course. I’m not saying we shouldn’t, but there are consequences.

It MIGHT be water temp. Manomet is ice water .... even in August.

Water temp is not a factor for white sharks. They have a very wide range from the 40s up to 80 deg, which is more of a range than most shark species.

The Feds protecting both the whites and their preferred meal the seals has caused this problem.

Animals are a lot smarter than a lot of humans. They go where the food is, and stay until it runs out. With seals as an endangered species, the government is protecting their food source.

If they introduce Whalewolf into the environment, the shark problem will go away. Then again, if we can fix global warming, the Sharknado problems will be fixed.

Harvest the seals for fur etc and the sharks will leave for greener pastures

In the old days, you just killed them and made soup out of their fins. Now they’re protected.

We had the odd shark move up into Maine waters from time to time- and this was 30+ years ago- and the water in boston is warmer than in Maine- Maine water is very painfully cold-

The bar scene was filmed at the Hog’s Breath (motto: Hog’s Breath is better than no breath at all) in Ft Walton Beach.
