JBS was a favorite whipping boy of the left. They still would be if there were any left around. As the old saying goes “Heavy flak usually means you are over the target.”
Like so many other things, it seems the John Birch Society was right all along. Almost everything they warned about has come to fruition.

Back in the day I never read anything by the John Birch Society. I avoided it because the mainstream media said they were “right wing kooks” and crazy. Back then I actually trusted the media’s fairness and truthfulness. Gullible me!
A couple months ago I came across old issues of their magazine. Much to my surprise, they pretty well had everything they wrote about “nailed”. They were America’s Casandras but we didn’t listen.
One of their great long-forgotten lines about how the lefties work:
