I think Trump might be dangling a libel suit in front of them so big that they’d be forced to go out of business if they settled.

And he might be threatening to go after them AFTER he leaves office, too... whether it’s in 2020 or 2024...

Perhaps this is why they’d endorse? As an effort to avoid a very certain death...?

After 2 1/2 years, I'm convinced that Trump knows what he's doing. Few mortal men could survive the onslaught that came his way after he won the presidency. So his tweets no longer concern me.

In social media parlance, Trump's tweets tend to "age very well." That is to say, what sounds ridiculous today will likely make more sense in a few more years. For example, remember just after he took office, he tweeted about his campaign being spied on in Trump Tower. Everybody thought he was being paranoid but now he is vindicated as "Spygate" comes into clearer focus.
