The guards who went in and supposedly found him dead actually killed him. Perhaps found him trying suicide and finished the job before calling it in.
Keep hearing about neck bones being broken. How many and what bones? Some experts claim that the hyoid bone (adjacent to Adam’s apple) is only broken in about 6-10% of suicide hangings. Methinks he was strangled and the hanging staged. Then again it would seem one or more guards would have been corrupted and complicit in his murder. More questions than answers.
