Felony murder is when the commission of a felony, NOT necessarily, and not usually, murder, results in the wrongful death of anyone involved. So if A and B commit a felony on C, and C kills A in self defense, B is guilty of felony murder because C killed B’s accomplice A.
Here there was no actual murder. There was only one death, of one perpetrator. The person who actually killed the deceased perpetrator did not commit murder, or any crime. The five “yoots” are being charged with murder because they were engaged in robbing the person who actually killed the sixth yoot, a felony.
Thug life lesson 101-always fill up the stolen vehicle before you go to steal another vehicle.
Google “felony murder”.
But that would have meant actually putting gas in someone else's car. A thought that has never crossed the mind of any of these criminals.

Seriously... today’s journalism sucks.
If Obama had a son...
“I speak jive”. :)
“My theory: blacks have adopted these new-sounding first names..”
There must be a book of names they can chose from. I know there are standard books you can buy that has regular name for males/females that can be used. Go figure.
“teens”...yeah! They were really good boys, just out on a childish adventure. We all made mistakes when we were teens. /sarc
They should have been holding a tuna sandwich.
Gee, no pics of the dead perp’s knife. Wonder why...?

One was studying to be a rocket surgeon and another aspired to be a brain scientist.
I certainly would not want the death of a 14 year old on my soul at age 75. Audi or not.
You’d feel guilty for defending yourself?
I think it’s a horrible law. What would the founders think of this law? Ascribing intent from one person to another is too much.
He was defending his fully insured Audi. Hey I am a CC Holder and carry daily in Wisconsin. Im not killing anyone over a car, thats just me I guess.
Unless Illinois has a duty-to-retreat law, the second that knife was brandished everything changed.
That’s on the perps. Not the vic.
He was defending his fully insured Audi.
Guess you missed the part about him having a Bowie knife in his hand and allegedly threatening the victim. In my driveway thatll get you a bullet every single time.
