And I also remember the color commentator.....Darrell Waltrip, I think......being very somber right from the first picture.I didn't give the accident a lot of thought until Waltrip quietly said "I hope Dale is alright." Until then, I hadn't appreciated how serious the accident truly was. It was evident that he knew that something bad had happened.
