In the 90s it was maybe one a week. in the 00s it was maybe three a year. in the 10s it has been zero; There just haven’t been many movies that I was even slightly interested. in. And those few, I could wait until they came out on regular TV, or buy the DVD
Today almost every cable channel makes their own. They are the "Republic" studios of the 21st century. You can watch them in your own place, on your own schedule, with your own popcorn, or snack of choice. And less reliance on cartoon tech for special effects.
