Most likely, and possibly a fake-out towards the deep state, thinking something big was going to be announced. You also had former NASCAR star Dale Earnhardt Jr's plane crash, around the same time, which would have overshadowed any big news the DOJ had put out.

Coincidence? We're trained to look at these things differently now when they happen.
