Why are they all walking in circles (counterclockwise) around this big square black building? I’m not trying to make any wisecracks, I’m just curious.
There are some Islamic rituals related to the Kaaba stone. They are supposed to circle the building multiple times. It is a ritual.
I’ve heard that infidels are banned from entering Mecca. It is such holy ground as a holy city of Islam, that only true believers are allowed inside.
