Yeah, except that after you've done it a few hundred times, you'd think the credibility of the accusation might tend to diminish a bit.

I think that approach requires generational turnover. One generation hears that crap for 10, 15 or 20 adult years and tunes it out as nonsense. But it works on that generations kids when they their teens. Then it lasts with them for another 20 years to maybe age 35 or 40. They are able to keep this going because we always have fresh young skulls full of mush coming out of the K-12 system.
