I lived there three years in the early sixties. No air conditioning. Very humid. It’s a miserable place. I remember a January when it rained every day. There was a hurricane. Generally a miserable place.

Yes, Houston used to be known for mild summers with low humidity - remind me again WHY Colt Stadium had to be replaced by the Astrodome in 1965?
