The unfortunate thing is that here, our representatives rarely listen to us, even the conservative ones, typically out of fear or the loss of revenue for their districts. Liberals have a hypermajority, to say the least, and push through whatever they like. Some representatives run unopposed, which compounds the problem.
Our state is too corrupt to fix. This method of operation has been ground into our capital since the twenties, thanks to Chicago.
And with anyone who is even somewhat moderate fleeing, the state will only become more blue. Indigo, basically.
