The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) filed a lawsuit on Tuesday to block a Trump administration policy that fast-tracks deportations of illegal aliens.
The lawsuit, which was filed on behalf of immigrant-rights groups We Count! and Make the Road New York, argues that President Donald Trump’s expansion of expedited removal has stripped immigrants of due process and has led to wrongful deportations.
“Hundreds of thousands of people living anywhere in the U.S. are at risk of being separated from their families and expelled from the country without any recourse,” ACLU lawyer Anand Balakrishnan said in a prepared statement released Tuesday. “This is a dramatic — and illegal — escalation in the Trump administration’s attacks on immigrant communities.”
The case, which specifically targets acting Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan, was filed in the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C.

We aren’t winning until outflows exceed influx.
So far ICE is only targeting those who have been here less than two years and have been ordered removed.
That leaves another 29 million still here.
Hasn’t SCOTUS already come back and issued a ruling that states the Executive Branch has the authority to implement and enforce whatever immigration policies it deems necessary? And was ceded that authority by the Congress?
I know they filed the suit and it may not have even made it into a courtroom, yet. But if the SCOTUS decision is true, this suit shouldn’t make it out of the judges chambers. Immediate dismissal, with prejudice.

I call them the Anti-American Civil Liberties Union. Seems to cover all they do.
They are also gathering other illegals they encounter as they go about gathering criminals and those with deportation orders. That is what has everyone’s panties in a bunch at this point.
If they have been here more than two years they are letting them go.
I think we need to start deporting lawyers.
