About 20 years ago Al Gore and NSA were pushing the Clipper Chip and regs that put American businesses at a disadvantage. They had regs that limited the encryption I could use in Hong Kong. I like some of the things Barr has done, but this sounds like “Here we go again.” Back then I had to go to Athens to fix a bug somebody introduced to comply with Clipper.
