Not too long ago the Missus and I would either channel surf the cable or watch stuff we had recorded on our DVR. Then we got AppleTV.
We now surf AppleTV. Usually we start in Netflix, move on to Amazon, then HBO, then Hulu, and lastly Starz.
No, I am not insane enough to subscribe to all of these. I have two adult sons. We do two, our eldest does two, and our youngest subscribes to one of them.
Yep, we share our subscriptions.
Cable is now almost exclusively only watched for the (rare) specials on the alphabet networks, FoxNews, and some sports.
Netflix still has some good stuff - we are watching Another Life right now - but, they seem to be pushing Korean and Japanese crap. I am not a fan of subtitles.
Amazon has a few original series we like. Most of their movie catalog isn’t that great.
HBO was for Game of Thrones. They still show some good movies.
Hulu allows us to see the few network shows we are interested in.
The wife watches Starz for some chick-friendly series.
The point...viewing habits have radically changed. Netflix will be only one fish in a very crowded sea. Sell.

You folks have a lot more time on your hands than I do...
I lose 15 more lbs and I should be able to fit in my Wetsuit again, I’m looking forward to Scuba Diving again!
Until then I will just stay outdoors and only enter the house w a TV when I need to sleep... I’m a bachelor now and can do what I want ;^)
