Its been reported that the El Paso police never fired their weapons. They arrested the killer at a stop light near Walmart when he surrendered.
Has anyone explained what exactly was happening in those 20 minutes he was shooting?Perhaps the police were following the old Columbine strategy of waiting for him to run out of bullets.
I thought he actually did run out of bullets. I just tried to search it, but it seems like it is lost in the frenzy of news about it for now.

The contrast between responses of the El Paso police and the Dayton police could not be more stark.
The Dayton locals were rightfully proud of the rapid and aggressive response of their officers to QUICKLY put a stop to their gunmans spree. For some strange reason the El Paso locals seem proud of the fact that their police did not fire a shot. To which I say...WTF?
The police never fired a shot? Thus, didn’t enter or arrived after the shooting was over?
I want to know WHY no employees grabbed a gun & ammo behind the counter and started firing bacj

And all we hear on the news is bow great the police did......spit.....
The police are not there to protect you. Personal safety is a personal responsibility unfortunately. Legally the police don’t even have to respond to a call for anything. That has political consequences but courts have ruled that police do not have to respond.
CNN had at least one interview with an eyewitness who saw 3-4 shooters. She was believable, and why would she lie? I know that eyewitnesses are reliably unreliable, but she went into too much detail and didn’t seem to be an attention whore. The EPPD also made a statement about multiple shooters. I think we had an Antifa attack. I’m pretty sure the media would shut that down.
Enough with the Columbine police BS. Jeffco sheriffs dept did what every police department would have done at that time. Columbine was an outlier and many police departments learned from it.
