Your gutless snark is duly noted.

btw, I never posted anything about the reliability of Alfa - the Ford/GM suckers simply had no other defense for their long failed designs.

Clearly, the Ford/GM suckers are enthralled with a car than can go fast...but only straight. LOL!

Ferrari (California T/Portofino) engine

Ferrari engineering
...and a hell of a lot better styling than Ford/GM

We desperately hoped for this enthralling Italian sedan to succeed, but we were consistently disappointed by its unforgivable reliability issues.”

Sorry to reply so late! I am sorry if I offended you, or gave you the impression that I did not love the Giulia, or Alfas in general for that matter. Were I in the market for a car of this type, and at that price point, I would definitely have a look at the QV.

But nobody -- and I mean nobody -- is ever going to praise Alfas for their reliability. In fact, the best jokes I've heard come from Alfa enthusiasts themselves. Many of whom are in Australia, home to some of the largest and hardest-core Alfa clubs on the planet.

But everybody -- and I mean everybody -- praises Alfas when it comes to driving them. Every review of the Giulia QV I have read gives the obligatory joke about reliability -- but then goes on to state how no other car in its class can touch it when it comes to pure driving excitement. Even those costing many thousands more.

Again, I did not mean to offend. Sorry if I did so! Seriously! I did not mean for my comment to come across as "gutless snark." That type of sentiment is pretty common among Alfa enthusiasts that I know. And don't even get me started on Lancias! :-)

Tell you what, I will send you pictures of my friend's GTV6 to make it up to you. That car is pure Alfa. In every sense of the word.
