Back in the olden days, there used to be a list of "notable" people in the Annual World Almanac and Book of Facts. This was essentially Wikipedia for those of us who grew up without an Internet. I used to pore over these books for hours as a child and that's where I developed a love for spreadsheets. Only we didn't call them spreadsheets in those days, we called them tables.

What a different world.

Speaking of Wikipedia, here is a list (of lists) of celebrities. Thousands of people. So let's have fun speculating who this might be.

I'm going to say it was that guy who played a character on that 1980s sitcom that I can't remember the name of.

“Is this political witch hunt? Is he running for office?”

Probably not. His life-long ambition was to be Governor of Minnesota - just like his dad, Orville Freeman. Everything he said while in the state Senate and in his first stint as Hennepin County Attorney (this is his second stint) was geared so blatantly at higher political office. It was painful to watch actually.

He ran twice for Governor in ‘94 and ‘98. In the latter race, he had the Democrat party endorsement but lost the primary.

In 2006, when Amy Klobuchar vacated the office of County Attorney to run for Senate, he ran and got his seat back. He challenged the party endorsement and irritated a lot of fellow Democrats.

I know some people who work over at the County and they said that Freeman is a lot more relaxed, less political and more willing to hear people out then in his first time as County Attorney. They think he finally understood that he’ll never be Governor and this is the best he’s gonna get.

Does this get filed under the Geraldo ‘Capones Vault’ or does Charlie Brown finally get to kick the football?

Looking at the list of celebrities in Minnesota.

Im guessing:
Louie Anderson
Mike Farrell
Rachael Leigh Cook

I doubt it's Jesse Ventura or Kevin Sorbo

Pressers, for whatever reason, are boring. Twenty minutes of introductions and two minutes of information.

He is actually my neighbor. He is a democrat and has been in this position for many many years. He has handled several national cases (cop shootings) that were very political. He has, thus far, been very objective in his decisions and taken a lot of heat from black lives matter and other left wing groups. The left campaigned against him
In the last election. It was the first time he really had to campaign. He seems to be a good guy, although I rarely see him around. He just got out of rehab though, after being accused of drinking before work (if I received as many death threats as he has from the left I might need rehab too).

Is that what happened to him?

He was a FLAMING liberal, and they destroyed his career for stepping just one foot off the reservation?
