An analysis of open data from Bird’s inaugural fleet in Louisville, Kentucky, conducted by Quartz last year, found that the average scooter lasted just 28.8 days.

I think that this finding is already outdated. The real number is closer to two weeks on average. Venture capitalists are finally waking up to this reality and they are starting to recognizing that they are never going to get the return that they were hoping for.
