I thought that woman was a bit young to be a captain in the L.A.P.D. in the first place.
That being said, I didn’t like it either when they killed her off. Of course, she was murdered by a white guy, not a Mexican or black....what else is new in regards to crime dramas.
I thought the captain was going to be the love interest of the “rookie.” He seemed to be interested in her.

Really liked her.
