The first and only time I saw the video, I was disturbed by the sight of this young guy brawling with this clearly older guy. There are very few instances where that would be okay.
I didn’t see anything that would have justified it in that video. It looked like somebody who could not control his temper.
Sure, some older guys have big mouths and can be very blunt (even I fit that description at times), but the reaction did not match the presumed threat or injury to one’s ego. In short. I didn’t like it, and was hoping the younger man was not an obvious Trump supporter.
Now, if he was strolling through my stomping grounds, near Berkeley University, and Antifa swung a bike lock at his head, then yes, yes YES! That both guns blazing approach would be just what I’d want to see. I would love to see Antifa get their bells rung by a good fighter. This, alas, was not that.
