Wow! A terrible experience for your son and your family. I’m so sorry all of you had to go through this.
That’s very kind of you, thanks. The worst memory is when they were trying to find a place to put in an IV but his arms and hands were so bad they had a hard time finding a place with skin for the tape to adhere to. He kept crying and saying “don’t let them hurt me.” Then, what made me cry, he gave up on me and turned to the nurses as they kept handling him and began saying,”Please don’t hurt me” Tough to see your toddler believe that you failed to protect him :(.
It’s been almost 7 years and no reoccurrence so hopefully it was a one time thing.
