Also, his dermatologist got my permission to present his case at a conference. I looked up Stevens-Johnson syndrome. He didn’t have any flu like symptoms or purple rash. His skin just opened up everywhere. We went in right away because I saw the herpes on his fingers -he’d had it on his hands before. A few days later and he was in the hospital on a morphine drip for the pain.

That’s very kind of you, thanks. The worst memory is when they were trying to find a place to put in an IV but his arms and hands were so bad they had a hard time finding a place with skin for the tape to adhere to. He kept crying and saying “don’t let them hurt me.” Then, what made me cry, he gave up on me and turned to the nurses as they kept handling him and began saying,”Please don’t hurt me” Tough to see your toddler believe that you failed to protect him :(.
It’s been almost 7 years and no reoccurrence so hopefully it was a one time thing.

Thanks:). He’s fine now, still has other skin issues but has a fantastic dermatologist and a great allergist.
That may be one of the reasons that all references to dogs in the Bible are negative.

Things like this do happen. I saw an episode of Dr. G where a healthy man in his 30s did from the same virus that causes cold sores (Herpes Simplex) For some reason he went septic and his body produced no antibodies against it.

Taking Humira injections does the same thing, it killed my wife 9 months ago.
It’s a wonder I’m not dead.
I heard that myth back in the ‘60s - it ain’t so but many act as if it is.
