My martini tip is to leave out the vermouth. Just good, cold gin and a blue cheese filled olive, no juice. Shake the gin with ice about 8-10 times and pour into the glass of your choice. I use a classic martini glass. Best drink ever.

Yum! Shall we soon, we three?

Never thought about gin cold. In Auntie Mame, the adolescent nephew swirls the Vermouth around the glass and tosses it out! The blue cheese olive is so cool. Thanks! Fun!

PS: The classic martini glass are very hard to find. I finally found a pretty set of four in an antique shop, but they are smaller than I was really looking for. I’m glad you like the classic martini glass, as well.
