HUD DIRECTOR THROWN OUT OF SANDTOWN

Dr. Ben Carson was thrown out of Sandtown yesterday, ostensibly for failing to get permission from the Morning Star Baptist Church of Christ to hold a press conference on a vacant lot owned by the church. The truth, not revealed elsewhere, is that none of the money announced by the Director will be used for the part of Baltimore that has been featured in reporting and discussions by President Trump.
In a discussion with Arthur Kirk, the director of the Kirk community center in Sandtown, Mr. Kirk said that none of the money is slated for the area where Dr. Carson, the HUD Director, attempted to announce the funds.
"I'm really confused as to why he didn't announce it over there because I've been told I didn't get funding because I wasn't a part of the Freddy Gray disaster zone area which is sandtown and Penn north," Mr Kirk said.
Apparently city officials have bottled up the funding to be used for municipal projects such as roads and bridges in the North avenue corridor, well east of Sandtown, the most blighted areas of Baltimore.
It would seem to behoove the Trump administration to look into this issue since they seem to be of the opinion that the rat infested blight about which they have excoriated Representative Cummings, will be affected by their recent funding package.

I wonder how much of this money the city fathers have devoted to upgrading the cages at the Druid Hill Zoo, located in the area they have designated.

This is mostly BS. Carson wasn't even there at the time. The church made the advance team set up less than 100 feet away.

Apparently city officials have bottled up the funding to be used for municipal projects such as roads and bridges in the North avenue corridor, well east of Sandtown, the most blighted areas of Baltimore.
So, now it's up to Carson and Trump to micromanage every penny FEDGOV sends to every city in the country? Sounds like Mr Kirk should be marching on the City Council, not Trump and Carson. But I won't be surprised if Trump inserts himself and calls out the council for using the funds where they are needed least (but produce the highest kickbacks), only to be called a racist for his efforts.

HUD was not aware, and still may not be, that their funds will not be used to deal with the blight they have been revealing.

And, yes, it is vital that HUD micromanage every penny they give to corrupt local officials.

The very fact that HUD set up the announcement in Sandtown, where the money will not be used, shows they have been hornswaggled by corrupt local officials, again.

Ooo I like this.
Let’s follow the money.
Right here, right now.

PDJT can release the path the money takes and who decides
what/where the money is used for.

Then ask those people why were those areas picked and where was the money used specifically.

Do it while the House is on vacation.

They do, but the detailed reporting and grant approvals are at a relatively low level of the federal bureaucracy. Carson would not be informed unless he made inquiries.

If this report is correct, it doesn’t make for a good photo op for the Trump admin to claim to be funding an area that they in fact have not funded.

Trump will hit a political home run if he calls a meeting in his office with the pastor of the church and Carson.

Dime to a dollar, such meeting is in the works. This will be the beginning of Trump embracing the very poor as part of a campaign to root out Democratic corruption.

Trump is a strategic political genius.

Sounds like the Trump admin didn’t know about it.

Notice the article says:

*****Apparently city officials have bottled up the funding to be used for municipal projects such as roads and bridges in the North avenue corridor, well east of Sandtown, the most blighted areas of Baltimore.*****

City officials decided to send the money somewhere other than the worst part of town, where it is needed. I can’t speak for Trump or Carson, but it sounds like they didn’t know the money had been directed somewhere else other than where they intended. I do know I trust them both while I don’t trust Cummings as far as I can throw his fat ass...

It also says maybe the Trump admin should look into this. I don’t think they were aware the funding had been redirected.

Yes, without a grant tied to a specific project at a specific place, it becomes part of the local officials way of handing out favors for votes. The only priority is not what an economist or city planner might call the priority, but what has the greatest political benefit to those who direct the spending of the grant.

I heard yesterday that Cummings is feigning sickness to avoid dealing with the mess he has created. Substantial corruption is being uncovered that leads directly to him. He is refusing to deal with the problems of corruption, rats, and murder that plague Baltimore.
In spite of the Md. governor’s desire for Marquess of Queensberry Rules, without Trump’s tweets none of this would be visible.
