Knew that the problems were getting worse when they started their commercials about all them “alternate sex methodologists” were ‘on the pill” to help them prevent getting HIV...if they also practice safe sex which ain’t gonna happen and even more will catch and spread the disease because they will feel safer with that pill.
When they come out and actually say that certain folks are more at risk because of their habits, even spinning it to give us the “home town America and nice neighborhood look”, you know it’s getting bad ...

Me too. Luckily for me I got snagged by a chick raised halfway around the world where divorces is still frowned upon, rather than looked at as simply the next stage, after getting married. Got a great family out of it. Obviously I wasn’t snagged by American Woman or God knows where my life would have landed...but then again, I just wasn’t exciting or wealthy enough (and, no, I don’t live paycheck to paycheck, never even close to that - but that’s not enough for American Woman).

I heard that number too, and I think it was in the context of Women in NYC. So I looked it up, and the estimated number is about 12%, although higher in women. Then take to it the next step to NYC, and then to “Sex in the City” types in NYC, and you probably are over 50%.
I’m with you - they can keep that ‘lifestyle’. No thanks!
Reading a bit more, the overall percentage, believe it or not, actually dropped from 18 to 12 percent over the 16 year period ending in 2016, believe it or not. So maybe American Woman is ‘tightening things up’, just a bit.
