KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WOWK) – A man was placed into handcuffs this morning in the capitol city while protesting outside of a health clinic.
The man, identified as Christopher McComas, 52, of Saint Albans, was arrested after having two warrants issued for him stemming from last week for disorderly conduct and assault.
He was arrested while protesting abortion in front of the Charleston Women’s Health Center around near the corner of Washington Street and Greendale Drive.
He had been protesting there for several weeks.

He assaulted an 82 year old woman because she was helping escort patients.
Is that okay, too? Just asking.
He isn’t guilty unless tried and found guilty. Escorts lie like the employees they support. Good use of taxpayer money.

I doubt the judge would have charged him without proper evidence or testimony. And you don’t need a “tape” for that.
He lunged at the woman who used her umbrella to deflect the attack. He’s 52 and weighs 250#. She’s 82 and weighs 120#. It’s still considered assault.
If the tables were turned, the judge would have charged the woman with assault. Ones side in an argument is not a defense.
