Not so sure about that. I have not heard of a single R being against him, and retired AF Pilot and Senator Martha McSally pretty much called the accuser a liar. The accuser appears to have significant, documented credibility issues and has a major motive to accuse her former boss, as he effectively ended her career. She even threatened to kill herself if he didn't "un-fire" her. We don't need D votes here.

Even though you have a logical argument, I think they will kick the can down the road. Then by September, the spin machine will have trashed him beyond redemption.

I would like to be wrong but we are dealing with politicians, not people.
