Technically the term 'pharmaceutical grade' doesn't apply to supplements, only actual drugs. It means the manufacturing process meets what actual drugs have to meet in terms of purity and the contents matching what's on the label. 'Food Grade' just means 'safe for consumption by humans.' Meaning it won't kill you, but you don't really know what you're getting.

I'm not a crazy supplement guy, I just think it's wise to know what to eat, and then make sure that gets backed up with supplements for those times when maybe you are depleted, or traveling on business and a good diet goes to hell.

I 've used these guys in the past, I THINK they are still independent, but of course all of life is buyer beware, so always best to go w/what a doctor (can't even trust them that much these days since they may just be pushing what's been recommended to them) or a good nutritionist.
