I used to take my kids to Baltimore they have great sites.Aquarium science museum, Railroad museum, and many art museums.
Still have great places that try to keep going. Too bad they are usually a small oasis in a sea of scum.
The Walters Art Gallery is very cool, and everyone should get to Ft. McHenry (the battle was MUCH MORE than the fort - read up on what Baltimoreans did there that really ended the battle for good).
