Had a similar case here in Georgia. Father left his son Cooper in the car, stopped by his car to drop something off at lunch, said he didn’t notice his son still in car. Worked the rest of the day, sexted with underage girl, had previously searched hot car deaths, etc. He was found guilty.
They were able to prove that quite well with the evidence in that case.
We have to realize that, unfortunately, man is capable of committing even the most horrible of crimes, so it would be foolish to assume that would be impossible here.
I’m sure he will be thoroughly investigated over this.
