When my Father was in a nursing home, someone stole his dentures. I later learned that is fairly common.
Fortunately his insurance paid for a new set.
Stealing is VERY common in rest homes...particularly in the “memory units”. My step-dad’s stuff went missing all the time. People would also stroll in to use his bathroom.
