Christianity is covered in blood, no one was immune. Christ died on the cross, but that didn't stop us from out right slaughter of those whose beliefs were different from whomever was ruling the local patch of ground.

Exactly. It always ... confuses? enrages? disgusts? ... me when I see people killing others because they’re “doing God’s work.” I suspect that if He wanted them dead, He’s perfectly capable of doing that Himself. So whatever lie you’re telling yourself, you ain’t doing it for Him.
