When I was a wee lad, I thought the show was insipid. But then again, the Partridge Family, Family Affair, etc. were even worse.
The Addams Family, on the other hand, that was the good stuff.

I built a transmitter when I was twelve, and we hooked it up in my friend’s garage to jam Family Affair if it was our sisters’ turn to pick the show.
The Rat Patrol was just as bad now that I have watched them as an adult, but hey, machine guns.
