PS: I am beyond curious as to WHY the now-favored bollard barrier has the design elements it has. I understand offering the ability to see through is crucial. But why,for instance, are the square structural box tube pickets clocked 45 degrees in relation to the barrier line? Might have something to do with sight lines through the barrier, and the tube turned 45 degrees reduces the number needed per given distance run and still maintain the desired small spacing between the tube.
