Barr has the authority to declass. He wasn't handed a pile of declassified stuff.

Hannity asked POTUS in his interview last night when he was going to declas. POTUS said he gave Barr the authority to release...maybe to Devin Nunes... and then he said 'so really, I have already' (declassed).

Draw your own conclusions. POTUS also had a very weird tone in his voice when he said 'maybe to Devin Nunes'. Tone's not the right word maybe it was just a special inflection.

Things are gonna get interesting.

Which brings up another point that's been bugging me.

What good does it do to release information to Nunes (Congress)? Isnt it sposed to go the other way? Congress excersizes oversite and recommends to the Executive (DOJ) for further action? What will Congress do. Investigate and turn around and refer to DOJ?

Not only that, Nunez, being in the minority, can t initiate hearings. MAYBE, if he has good stuff, that shuts down the derp hearings, cause the derps don't want it to come out? Or Nunes yaps all over the place with it, being more legitimate to the press?
