You should see all the ungrateful idiots on HGTV.
Unless its 3,000-5,000 sq. ft. they really cant get by.
And it all has to be very-high end.

Remember the real clients of HGTV are advertisers like R/E companies, etc. The show programmers are never going to promote the idea of being satisfied with your current home. The shows are commercials for crap which is then pitched in the actual commercial segment.
True. And over the years they have a steady stream of homosexual clientele to try and convince the public it’s a significant part of society, rather than the maybe 2% that it is.
Government subsidizes housing costs for immigrants, low income, disabled, those seeking sanctuary and active military. Then they cry and attempt to lower rents that they forced higher by making all of the above able to pay another few $$$’s, while the people paying out of pocket are crushed by the $100’s in increased cost.
Fewer cars on the highway, smaller class sizes, lower housing, food and social costs on the plus side of the flood of immigrants and border jumpers. Higher pay, more work for American College graduates, lower education costs as Loonyversities are forced to compete for students.
Can we ever run out of positives for removing the 50 million illegals from the US, and ending birthright citizenship?
A 3 bedroom place isnt big enough for a young couple with a small child???
It may not be size. An apartment of any size wouldn’t be my first choice for raising kids.

Meanwhile American citizens are forced out of jobs because they don’t get a lot of these subsidies or preferential treatment. A total take-down of the middle-class and it even hurts a lot of the poor, too.
But they'll happily vote for politicians who want to put everyone in Soviet-style apartments.
[ 30ish couples who are fortunate enough to be able to afford an $800K price tag and the woman does nothing but complain. ]
Amen. Chaps my hide or whatever the term is.
Sometimes it’s the beta male complaining the loudest.
Like this idiot couple in Canada that didn’t want granite countertops because “it was too hard on the environment”.
Then they found out they had lead pipes for water coming into their house. It all had to be replaced.
Absolutely. HGTV is pro-leftist, all the time.
Makes it difficult to watch. So I watch a lot less of it now.
I knew a family,back in the 40s,7 kids....2 bedrooms.5 girls in one room,parents in 2nd bedroom,and 2 boys had cots in the dining room.
My dad built a jerry rigged kind of shower for himself in the basement of the house I grew up in.
I don’t remember whether I was even allowed to use it. I didn’t, however, although I liked to go look at it.
“What good is electing communists if they don’t, you know, communate? “
Good one.
My grandmother was one of 11 children, raised in a very modest 3BR house.
I watch HGTV regularly. Although, to be honest, much of it is rage-watching because the clients can drive me over the edge.
For example, in House Hunters, I can predict what 99% of the buyers demand: The ubiquitous Open Floor Plan, Stainless Steel appliances, Granite countertops and endless spaces to entertain. Naturally, every wall is painted beige or, if they want something really different, grey.
Their budgets can, at times, be unrealistic and jaw dropping. They can have the most ridiculous, low paying jobs but yet have a million dollar budget.
It can be a real hoot to watch House Hunters International and see these unrealistic millennials get a harsh reality check.
I am absolutely floored by Canadian Real Estate prices. I find myself saying the same things about their homes as I do about California prices: They want $1 Million FOR THAT??
The shows which are most likely to send me into a rage are the renovation shows. I have a passion for older homes with good, sturdy craftsmanship, charm and character. IMO, most newer builds are dreadfully plain, cookie cutter and cheaply constructed.
I love to watch videos of old abandoned homes on YouTube and dream about purchasing an abandoned 1700s or 1800s home and restore it to its former glory. Of course, I need to win the lottery first, lol.
Anyway, I find myself yelling at the TV when the buyers purchase an older vintage home and the flippers proceed to knock down as many walls as possible and remove all the character from the home.
The Property Brothers are some of the worst offenders. Although, yesterdays show was hysterical because the episode featured a college professor and his break the gaydar drag queen boyfriend who performed as Liza Minnelli.
But, youre right, its amazing how much money that buyers are willing to shell out for properties that are just meh.
Issaquah is one of the most desirable places in the Seattle suburbs to live.
Great schools, low crime, plenty of high end restaurants and shopping.
Plus easy access to Seattle for a commute.
$2800/mo rental for a family of three is chump change.
(In that area)
In fact, if they wanted a house with a yard, they could *buy* a huge house for that in the south suburbs for that price.

Mo kidding. Blows me away.
[Liza Minelli]
The Property Brothers seem to push a lot of LGBT too. Must be in the HGTV contract.
Interesting that Jesus said one of the signs was buying and selling (not that it hasn’t been true pretty much all of history).
So, I sorta chuckle that their HGTV show is......”Buying and Selling”. (with the Property Brothers)
Who cares??
The liberals who are willing to pay those kind of extortionate rates deserve it.
