Wild is the key word.
Yesterday i went by an 8 foot gator who got run over.
Seemed dead.still i wouldn’t go close and do a selfie.
Came by later and it moved itself a couple hundred yards down the road.
“I’m not quite dead yet”.
Yeah, send your kids over to get a photo with that?

Excellent visual of why it’s not wise to assume everything in nature is safe, especially assuming it’s dead.
I think I’d have passed out!
