City kids are struggling with basic math and English but a new Department of Education curricular initiative focuses instead on racial privilege and activism, The Post has learned.
Pushed by Schools Chancellor Richard Carranza, the Culturally Responsive-Sustaining Education program will require schools to identify and interrupt policies and practices that center historically advantaged social/cultural groups and lead to predictable outcomes of success or failure for historically marginalized students.

Reading and math were dropped as serious subjects generations ago at public schools. So really nothing will change. I wouldn’t worry about it. Hard to go lower than zero when it comes to what’s being taught.

Education is racist if black and brown kids don’t do as well as white and Asian kids. Bringing up the black scores is hard — crippling white kids education is easier.

Yea right, the whole curriculum is so infested with “White Privilege” that kids of Asian descent score higher on average than “white”.
The problems are not in the schools. The real problems are in the homes and families that the kids come from.
Parents who leave all school outcomes to the schools alone are parents that are failing their kids.
This is a cultural revolution, just like the one in China during the 1960s.
Is there not a way that the rest of us can secede from these idiots and their stupidity?
