It’s a shame that the beautiful are often targeted.
For much of human history, being a beautiful girl/woman was a bit of a two-edged sword. The advantages were and are obvious. But the disadvantages were always in the background. If your side lost a war, you’d be the first to be raped and passed around by the victors. I imagine really good looking women in Berlin 1945 had a tough time of it.
