I don’t trust leftists because of their lust for power over other people and the games they will play to get it.
The problem is you describe Mitt Romney down to his magic underwear. There are progressives in “both” parties, now.
Yeah, I was talking to a leftie friend the other day and he kept asking how if we could agree on this issue or that, why I would still never in a million years concede to vote for the Democrats. What it came down to, I explained to him, was that the left believes the ends justify the means, and that is fundamentally dangerous, so no matter what stance they take on an issue, you just can’t trust them.
