Partner, I forgot to mention that the Generals of WWII were well respected not only by our troops but by all Americans.
General Teddy Roosevelt (Son of Former Great POTUS President Ted Roosevelt) led his troops into battle on Omaha Beach on D-Day and he got the MOH posthumously as did his Father who are the only Father and son who have received the MOH in the history of our great country. Of course, these two (2) were the embodiment of America and how we will go into battle for righteous causes like WWII.
