Cindy Orozco didnt expect to be punched in the head by a delivery worker when she arrived at her job at Good Pizza in Los Angeles last March.
The blow came from an enraged food delivery worker who stormed into the tiny pizzeria demanding, Wheres my fing order?
When she told him it wasnt ready, he threw the contents of a tip jar across the small Playa Del Ray eatery, according to interviews and surveillance video footage obtained by The Post.
Things escalated when Orozco and the courier who was sent to Good Pizza by food delivery giant DoorDash got into a physical confrontation. The courier fled without the order.

After all these years y’all still have a ping list trolling me.
Really. Get a life.
It is my favorite hobby.
I shall never tire of it.
LOL! Watch the video and come back and defend the dude!
Watch the video.
If you were waiting in line, for food or anything else, and someone walked up and cut in front of you would you just smile and accept it? Hell no you wouldn't!
I repeat if this guy can't cope with his little piss ass delivery job he should get a REAL JOB!
I'm through with you, I spent 24 years in the food services and twenty years in construction and have had my fill of people that can't deal with real life. I bet the little shit is one of those pissant Millennials that never learned responsibility and have no concept of what real work is.
“It is my favorite hobby.
I shall never tire of it.”
You really should get a life.
Why? When this gives me unparalleled hours of pure joy!
“Why? When this gives me unparalleled hours of pure joy!”
Put it on your tombstone.
And if the order isn’t ready the driver should leave and be held harmless.
“And if the order isnt ready the driver should leave and be held harmless.”
Watch the video
No kidding.
What was the expected time?
***********
Good question. I don’t know as I wasn’t there and it wasn’t disclosed
in the article. But that could be one reason among others of course.
” But that could be one reason among others of course.”
So missing the expected time is reason to storm an establishment and assault the innocent workers?
Nope didn’t say that. Your assumption.
“Nope didnt say that. “
You absolutely did.
Okay........
Sadly, you posted the wrong image from that flick...and it’s not an image of Sean Penn.
I do deliveries as a licensed Independent Contractor.
I am at the age where I can pick and choose and do what I want.
I checked into one of the Uber type ‘services’ called ‘Roadie’ and the bids put out I wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole because the prices are terribly low, and it turns out that what they basically do is hire (after signing up etc) whoever is going in that direction.
A good example is a job was offered from near Front Royal VA to Denver CO and even though a week was given, the pay was about 800 bucks for a 1700 mi(orso) job.
I have seen others that are paying less per mi.
On one hand they tell you that if you make a delivery, chances are pretty good you can get one to carry you back BUT the setup is basically for ‘joe citizen’ to delivery your piano 2000 miles because he is going that way.
All I can really see this doing is slicing into an already ‘slow’ business.
I would NEVER do food (MAYBE if I personally know the owner..but doubtful) and I can imagine this pizza delivery guy gets the app, is told to be xxxxx at 6PM - he is ‘fined’ if late and the customer (on both ends) writes a report on him/her so if the pickup isn’t ready when you get there, eventually you will be late for the delivery so they will be mad at you and there goes YOUR TIP...and you really have no one to be able to get ‘mad’ at.
Exactly my sentiments in a few posts. No, thanks. Budget aside, I've about given up on eating out after getting from employees not washing their hands (verified), seeing a Whataburger burger flipper stick the spatula down the backside of his pants to scratch his butt, a Sonic employee try to hand me my order with black filth under her nails and a Hispanic waitress flirting in English at one table but suddenly no habla ingles at our table. These days, it's best to eliminate as many germy icky hands and other body parts as possible.
Many restaurants have a higher online cost than what is on their in restaurant menu. Then the delivery person gets about $8 for the service plus you have to tip them. By that time, you've paid double or more than what it would have been to pick it up yourself and 10 times more than if you'd made it at home.
I'm waiting on the dough to rise to make buns for the homemade pork bahn mi sandwiches we're having for supper. Using up leftover Asian bbq and carrot salad. Homemade cost is <$1 each vs. around $10 store bought.
