Its all because UT has become a California college.
It’s always been a California college.
So glad the Aggies don’t play them anymore!
Gig Em Aggies!
No, it’s all because of the NCAA’s stupid taunting rule.
Back in the 1950's and 1960's, when the University of Southern California was a conservative school true to its Methodist roots, the Trojans went 4-0 over Texas, appeared regularly in the Rose Bowl, and won an occasional National Championship and Heisman Trophy. But that was a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.
USC is currently run by globalists who apparently see football as a parochial American cultural artifact little understood outside the US, so it is being given less and less priority, with the expectation that it will eventually be phased out--or at least that's what many frustrated Trojan fans are coming to believe. The hiring of a series of mediocre coaches and the latest outrage--scheduling a Division 1AA team for the 2021 season, which has never before been done--add weight to this conspiracy theory.
