Past performance is no guarantee of future success.

I was an avid collector starting in 1962 - right after Atlas became Marvel. I know the “literature” far better than most.

I half-hated Endgame. I was disgusted by the God of Blunder, the God of Blubber. It was pure Political Correctness (Cultural Marxism): They would never do that to the Black Panther or Captain Marvel.

They had to redistribute nobility and authority away from the loathed white male. A 1500-year-old Norse God became a 30-year-old Couch Potato.

Disney/Marvel will no longer have the building momentum of Phases 1-3 to buffer weak offerings. My guess is they will start having some flops.

Star Wars was once invincible. Then they went Solo.

Do as you like. I certainly will. I am done with it.

I loved Endgame. Can’t wait to watch it again. I thought fat Thor was funny and made sense, given what happened before.

Thor was, is and will always be powerful.

Do you remember who removed Thanos’ head in the movie?

My favorite Thor, and one of my top three Marvel Studios movies was Thor: Ragnarok. It was a terrific movie. The director of that movie will come back to direct Thor 4.

I hear what you’re saying, but I don’t see it quite like that. The only two Marvel Studio movies I haven’t seen are Black Panther and Captain Marvel.

The Marvel Universe is massive, it spans galaxies. I’m comfortable in picking and choosing what I think will be good and what I think may not be good. There are still many tales to be told.

If you’re offended, just don’t watch. If there’re enough people who don’t like the movies and/or tv shows, revenue will drop and they will adjust.

As long as Kevin Feige is in charge, I will continue to pay close attention to their products, and will watch most, if not all, of them.

Solo is just confirmation that Episode VIII killed Star Wars after Rogue One gave us a false new hope that there are good stories yet to be told in that universe. There will be no Episode IX or any other stories for me after the dreck of Episode VIII.

For what it's worth, though, I kinda liked Solo but only as a caper movie not Star Wars. If you look at it as White Collar in space, it's not bad; if you look at it as Star Wars, and specifically as the young Han Solo who will grow into the Han Solo of the original trilogy, it's really bad on the same scale of bad as no way that the whiny Anakin of Episodes I–III turns into the biggest badass in the galaxy bad.
