My thought is that whoever these people are/were, the Iranian raggedy's saw them as enemies. Which would lead me to believe that if they had ANY connection to our intelligence services, could put them on Real America/Trump's side.
Otherwise, the raggedy's would be working with them (Kerry/Clinton/Obama/Derps).
There's also a chance that they were derpish agents and the raggedy's are pissed off at them and decided to take them out to display their displeasure. Perhaps they are coming to realize the futility of working with the derps.
ALSO, there is the chance that they are just seeing CIA behind every bush and taking out enemies/anti-mullah domestics.
