President Trump on Friday bemoaned the amount of media coverage devoted to supporters at his Wednesday night rally chanting "send her back" about Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) as he dug in on his attacks against the first-term congresswomen and three of her colleagues. Trump fired off a trio of tweets in which he shifted blame for the uproar over the chants onto the media one day after he sought to distance himself from the refrain. He again accused Omar of hating the country and blasted "vile and disgusting statements" made by progressive lawmakers he has attacked for six consecutive days. "It is amazing how the Fake News Media became 'crazed' over the chant 'send her back' by a packed Arena (a record) crowd in the Great State of North Carolina, but is totally calm & accepting of the most vile and disgusting statements made by the three Radical Left Congresswomen," Trump tweeted.

I wasn't going to poke you in the eye with any more facts, re that Trump's day later claim/distancing himself from his base; however,on Friday, in the Oval Office, he flipped and said that saw nothing wrong with that chant. So he came full circle and with this post, it's really past time to put this discussion to bed.
It’s not hard to understand.
Once you make fun of people because of the way they look, you’re doing the thing you thought you were fighting against.
That is, if you’re really an American patriot.
When truth and ridicule are opposed to one another, truth wins every time.
Truth outlives ridicule. Honesty and sincerity can fit into any conversation or communication, no matter the mood, tone or context.
Ridicule on the other hand is quite limited.
For Trump, the whole thing was a win. A win-win, if you will.
His supporters got the chance to yell send her back.
Trump, who understands his position as Chief Executive very clearly, was able to verbalize that he didn’t like the chant. And he won politically.
By this point, the anti-Americans have caught on that they aren’t going to be able to use Trump’s comments about the chant to split him from his supporters.
I’m getting ready to start lifting again. Shoulder injury. Sometimes all you need is stretching to get things right.
This time I’m going for 197%.

Trump never should have said he disapproved of the ‘send her back’ chants because every time it happens at future rallies the media is going to beat him up over it some more.
But you forget—the Trump against Media score is something like 223 to 0.
