Trump complains of 'crazed' media coverage over 'send her back' chants
The Hill ^ | 07-19-19 | Brett Samuels

President Trump on Friday bemoaned the amount of media coverage devoted to supporters at his Wednesday night rally chanting "send her back" about Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) as he dug in on his attacks against the first-term congresswomen and three of her colleagues. Trump fired off a trio of tweets in which he shifted blame for the uproar over the chants onto the media one day after he sought to distance himself from the refrain. He again accused Omar of hating the country and blasted "vile and disgusting statements" made by progressive lawmakers he has attacked for six consecutive days. "It is amazing how the Fake News Media became 'crazed' over the chant 'send her back' by a packed Arena (a record) crowd in the Great State of North Carolina, but is totally calm & accepting of the most vile and disgusting statements made by the three Radical Left Congresswomen," Trump tweeted.

“I’m simply using the word ‘apology’ because that’s was 99.9% of EVERY newspaper, news show, and pundit called it.”

At least you admit being suckered by the media.

Now it’s time to stop letting yourself be suckered.

Just wanted to help you understand that Trump knows exactly what he’s doing.

You don’t want to be with the never Trumpers.

Trumpo does NOT always "know what he's doing" and this time he didn't! But now, he figured it out ( or someone told him ) and has reneged on the original statement.

I don't know how long, nor how involved you have been in politics, but I've been immersed in it since childhood, have worked on local, state, and federal campaigns, and know this stuff cold.

And calling me out, re the NEVERTRUMPERS, is outrageous and proves just how very little you understand my posts, me, and #NEVERTRUMPERS!

The crowd knew that Omar will be going down. But President Trump has to be very careful not to prejudice the case so her lawyers could get her off on a technicality.

You just explained why you don’t understand what Trump did.

This is not politics. It’s life.

Trump is not a politician. He’s a regular person.

Knowing politics means one thing: knowing how to lie.

Trump is telling the truth.

The more one knows and lives politics, the closer he is to being a progressive.

No, actually, it is YOU who just proved that you not only don't understand Trump, but know almostg nothing about him; nor me, for that matter!

First of all, unlike you, I grew up in NYC about the same time Trump did, which means that both he and I had the same schooling ( all of N.Y. State followed the same syllabus, no matter what school one went to ), probably listened to the same radio shows, watched the same early T.V . shows, ate steak well done, with ketchup and other such foods, which now has been made fun of, by non-New York phonies.

And while we have different accents ( NYC has ALWAYS had many, many, many, many different accents! )we "speak the same language", so to speak, and are both blunt and take no crap!

And as far as Trump, being a "normal person"...oh in a way he is; however, as I did, he grew up in a family who rubbed shoulders with pols, knew them personally, was interested in politics, and went to local, state, and Federal events. Hell, he and his father knew Reagan, who told the younger Trump that he was someone who should go into politics, because he was "needed"!

Since I do NOT name drop, I shan't now be giving you my political CV, re whom I have known/know, nor whom my family did/does. You'll just have to guess or ignore this bit.

No...."knowing politics" has a lot more to do with knowing 1)how our system works or doesn't and why 2)the games people and yes, the MSM, play 3) how to make a deal a POLITICAL way 4)and who to trust and who not to ( which Trump is getting better at, but started off being lousy at! Lying? That is the lingua franca of pols, but also many other professions!

Noooooooooooooooooo, what you imagine to be "real life", re Trump, is pure, unadulterated, unalloyed SHOWMANSHIP...which is as much a part of politics, as it is anything else!

You are naive, unaware, and can't see the forest for the trees! I suggest that you refrain from calling out and besmirching others, when it is YOU who is the one who doesn't know nor understand the topic. And the childish name calling makes you a soulmate of AOC and her "SQUAD", Obama, Hilary, and the likes of Billy Ayers!

Whoa there hoss, easy does it.

Trump used his greatest strength, which is saying what he really thinks.

He really didn’t like the chant. So he said it.

Capiche?

BOVINE EXCREMENT!

Ivanka got his ear afterwards...I had guessed she had, but now know it was not just an educated guess on my part, but absolutely true!

Go away, pat yourself on the back, continuing to believe that you know all about what makes Trump tick ( you don't know diddley about that, nor much about him at all! )and that I not only don't knows anything at all, but am some faaaaaaaaar lefty; since that's make you feel better, snowflake.

Me? I feel sorry for you, but am also laughing my head off AT you. You''re worse than clueless!

When you make false claims that Trump is being influenced by Ivanka, you’re making false claims that he’s weak.

But it only sounds ridiculous, because Trump has shown he’s anything but.

Our enemies are terrified to death of him, starting with the domestic enemies.

Why do you even make the attempt?

It’s like the community organizers and other anti-Americans running on nothing but Alinsky.

Here’s a memo for you: Alinsky (the methodology) couldn’t get Hillary elected! Because Alinsky IS weak!

Your terminal Projection Complex appears to be rapidly reaching the zenith of idiocy. You appear be losing more and more brain cells, the more you reply! Bless your heart....

Trump said he didn’t like the send her back chant.

He runs the Executive Branch.

If he supports “send her back,” it has legal and military implications.

Trump is President because he understands this dynamic.

What’s really laughable about the anti-American crowd is not only are they incapable of articulating why they hate this country, but they don’t even understand it in their own minds.

The principle you’re defending here is making fun of people because of the way they look. Progressives do this, because their ideology is stupid.

But the only patriots who defend this behavior on the level of principle are the ones who don’t have the brains to understand when progressivism is manipulating them, or those not man enough to admit they were wrong.

Keep on with this, so I can show you the one thing more powerful in argument than ridicule.

I don't know if I'd quite call it a 'principle', but yes. And don't forget to...

Need I remind you that I've seen your argument gung fu. Recall the night of 188%.

But if you feel the need, do show me.
