I know he’s an oddball but the man can flat out act. Here’s a fantastic scene from Collateral where Micheal Mann puts you in LA for the night following an elite, sociopath assassin played in extraordinary fashion by Cruise. Get to a theater and see it if you haven’t. Well, it came out in 2004 so you better find another way.
