Sherman, THE DESTROYER & WAR CRIMINAL, never owned a single slave BUT the famous GEN U.S. Grant owned 2 slaves (They were listed by name on his Personal Property List) until all Union officers were ORDERED to free their slaves in 1864, by the Secretary of War.

That is about the most incredible bunch of baloney I have ever seen on one of these lost cause scripts. Other than Sherman not owning a slave there is literally nothing in it that is correct.

US Grant acquired one mulatto slave from his father in law in about 1857. He manumitted William Jones in 1858. What was the name of this alleged second slave?

Cite the order that the Secretary of War issued. George H. Thomas owned a slave until the XIII amendment was ratified.
He then offered her a job as a house keeper.
